Jingley Apologies!

I have been a slacking elf this year and I am very sorry!
I have been visiting the kids each day but poor Mummy is pregnant and has been very poorly and so not upto blogging and the kiddies are so busy with nursery and school that we've been doing easy peasy things.

We have:
Coloured kaleidescopes
Played with play-doh with Christmassey cutters
Got new Christmas colouring books and dot the dots
Coloured in our own Christmassey fabric bags
Eaten sweets


I hope to post some photos soon and hopefully have more of an update for you! On Friday I have a very special surprise for the children and tomorrow they are going to get a message from Santa!

Marshmallow Bath

I fancied a bath, but I'm not keen on water so I decided I would bath in... MARSHMALLOWS!

The girls were very surprised to see me sat in a bowl of marshmallows this morning. They wasted no time in eating some of them though! I am now nice and clean and I smell lovely!

Tomorrow the girls have their school Christmas fair! I have another treat for them too.

Last night I was busy putting up the Christmas tree!

The girls were very excited to see it. I hid in a stocking to surprise them this morning.

Later in the day the girls found the spare tinsel and decided to add their own touch.

Grow your own...

This morning I brought the girls a Grow Your Own Christmas Tree kit!

The girls and I planted the seeds and watered them and put them on the window sill. In a few weeks we should have a Christmas tree that is 4 inches tall! In a couple of months time we will plant it in the garden, who knows, it might be full-size by next year!

Tonight my mission involves baubles... can you guess what I am doing?

Guess Who's Back!!!

I'm back for my third year with my lovely family! The kids have grown so much in the last year and the family have moved house (again!). I am really excited about celebrating advent and counting down to Christmas!

This morning I surprised the girls by bringing their advent calendars and a special extra advent calendar!

I brought the girls a playmobil princess advent calender so that as well as chocolate every day they get a little playmobil toy, by Christmas they will have a little playset!

Christmas Eve – 24th December 2011

Christmas eve is magical! Nearly as magical as Christmas! I brought the girls a Santa Claus DVD and some chocolate AND when they woke up from their nap they opened their present from me – some brand new pyjamas with snowflakes on – just like my name Jingles Snowflake!

We cuddled up on the sofa to watch the DVD, then we put food out for Santa and Rudolph and the girls took their stockings and put them by their beds ready for Santa!

I’m the girl’s guest of honour tomorrow but this will be my last blog post for this year! I’ve had a lovely time celebrating advent with this wonderful family and I’ll be back next year!

Rice crispy bars – 23rd December

Today we made rice crispy bars, we melted the marshmallows and then mixed in rice crispy cereal. It was really sticky and hard work mixing it in. Then we spooned it into baking tins and put it in the fridge to cool! It’s delicious!

Tomorrow is my last proper day with the girls and my last blog for the year! I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone! Tomorrow will be a lovely day full of exciting things!
